PANDA is a large-scale, multi-compartment, thermal-hydraulics facility located at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Switzerland and operated for nuclear safety projects. continuously upgraded with new components instruments to meet requirements of each project. The modularity its instrumentation provide unique opportunities perform experiments ranging from basic containment phenomena studied mainly single vessel integral behavior Passive Containment Cooling Systems (PCCS) requiring up six vessels four passive condensers (PCCs, IC) submerged water pools. Experimental data analyses are performed using system codes, lumped parameter (LP) severe accident codes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes.
